Your thoughts are a happening thing, they're always with you. Your mind is constantly observing, commenting, processing & storing information based on feelings versus facts.
Learn how to communicate with yourself using curiosity. Move through life with more understanding + ease.
An example: you start to see where the (metaphorical) road is, what it looks like, how it feels, the color, etc. So you’re here, you’re seeing it, it’s very real.
And then you remember.
You remember that you can also look to the left, or the right, or spin around. And there’s another option. One is familiar- maybe it feels dark, or heavy and unclear, but also comfortable. The other is open, light, kinda scary, also liberating.
This is the moment where you choose. You don’t pretend that the dark road doesn’t exist, because it does, it’s there- it’s here, but you have choice. And what you choose over and over again, this is the practice, this is your life.
